FEBRUARY DEADLINE - EVS in Osijek Croatia
Would you like to volunteer in Osijek, Croatia
from June 2012?
Volunteering has a meaningful, positive effect on the community. A person can have many benefits
from volunteering. One can help give back to the society and break down
barriers. This EVS experience will set a good picture of the volunteer in
his/her future life. Volunteer work shows commitment, dedication and interests.
Which are excellent values a young person can show, when seeking a job.
Some of the activities the volunteer can be part of are:
- Promote the YiA programme,
especially EVS , with our “open door programme”
- Volunteering in one of the 25 kindergartens of the City of
Osijek (children from the age of 4 to 6 years) Note: the volunteer must need to
pass the medical and sanitary inspection which license is one year.
-Take active part in publishing photos and articles about
interesting subjects on the Youth Centre’s website
- promoting the volunteer’s cultural background –
"Meet my country"
- educational workshops and design of promo
materials,
- socializing within the youth club and animation
games,
- helping organizing local events for the City of
Osijek, etc.
